"One Lord, One Vision, One Body, One Mission"

Are you the eggs or the bacon?

The Christian life, a follower of Christ, is not a contribution it’s a commitment. Not a imitation, it’s participation of Jesus life in us. For some it’s a little-dab-a-doya, a little part of your life, hold back don’t get too involved, might take time away from… may get to demanding. If you try to walk with Christ and the world at the same time that is called half-stepping, fence setting, cold and warm. You claim to love Jesus and the things of the world at the same time. You go to church for an hour or two, so you can claim to be a member, But your focus is on the world through the week. That’s not what the scriptures teaches us.

Romans 12:1,2
Jesus ask for, no, He demands total commitment, total surrender, sold out, all in, 100%
1 John 2:14-17
Fathers, young men, followers of Christ, IF you abide in Christ, love not the world
God desires His will in our life, A new year; how about new golds. Gals. 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Here's a story to think about:
There was a chicken and a pig walking down a street one day, they came up on a restaurant. In the window was a sign that read, eggs and bacon needed. The chicken said to the pig “let’s go in and help” the pig said “you must be crazy. For you that’s just a contribution from you, but for me it’s a Total Commitment!”

So, are you the eggs or the bacon?
